Matt wakes up, rolls over and says I’m hungry! I on the other hand, like to wake up and relax, read the news, surf my IG feed, make coffee or lemon water, and then think about breakfast. I’m not always hungry every morning and honestly sometimes just skip breakfast all together, and then I get yelled at by my husband, “It’s the most important meal of the day, you better eat somethin.”  I know it is key to eat a healthy and balanced breakfast to start your day on the right foot, but sometimes we just don’t have time to make that elaborate breakfast because we like to hit snooze on our alarm 3 times and always get that extra 5 minutes of sleep before work. I have a few breakfast recipes that I indulge in most often. They are all easy, healthy, quick, and most importantly yummy!

Instant Oatmeal with Fruit: literally boil the water and stir in the oats for one minute. Top with fresh cut strawberries and blueberries. Drizzle Blue Agave over the top, sometimes I add granola and walnuts.

Light Multi Grain English Muffin PB&J– Toast the english muffin, Spread Jiff Natural Peanut Butter, and All Natural Strawberry Jelly, YUM!

Pink Lady Apple with a couple handfuls of no salt added Almonds! – Self- Explanatory. Two of the healthiest things for u! I catch myself eating an apple and some almonds more than any other breakfast choice when I am rushing around. You can obviously use any kind of apple, but Pink Lady’s are my Fav!
