The acai (ah-sigh-EE) berry is a grape-like fruit harvested from acai palm trees, which are native to the rain forests of South America. Acai berries contain antioxidants, fiber and heart-healthy fats. They are helpful for a variety of health concerns, including arthritis, weight loss, high cholesterol, skin appearance, detoxification and general health. I don’t even think they are that much better than regular berries, such as blueberries. But I like to switch it up and I have a few acai bowl recipes that I like to eat for breakfast or as a meal replacement for lunch.
–Hemp seed Granola, Pure Acai, Bananas, Pineapple, Strawberries & Almond Milk. Top it off with Granola, Pineapple, shredded coconut and drizzled with Honey
–Hemp Seed granola topped with blended Acai, Bananas, Mangos, Pineapples & Almond Milk. Topped with another layer of Hemp seed Granola Banana, Pineapple, Blueberries, Coconut and Honey
–Organic Granola, Acai blended with peanut butter but not overwhelming. Blend in strawberries, banana Almond milk and top with granola. Topped with strawberries, bananas, coconut and drizzled with Peanut Butter. MY FAVORITE!!! i love peanut butter.
